David Resnick (he/him/his) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. He holds a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and a BA in Psychology from Clark University with a concentration in American Sign Language.

David is primarily interested in counseling children and families. He utilizes play therapy, drawing and roleplay to practice social interactions and perspective taking. He also provides psycho-educational help to clients and families, as well as adults still struggling with familial impact on them.  He has a person-centered Rogerian/Jungian approach to therapy. He has experience with behavioral issues, learning differences, and focuses on working with clients to develop psychological tools and improve understanding of self.

Prior to completing his MA, David's internships were at a 766 school serving children ages 3 - 12 years with emotional and neurological difficulties that interfere with their learning and prevent them from attending regular school programs, and as a clinical intern at NECHM.

David has worked as an Assistant Teacher in multiple programs, as a Client Assistant and Donations Assistant at a non-profit in Acton that accepts donations and provides furniture, cutlery, and other necessities to those in need, and as Senior Instructor at a Tae Kwon Do Studio.
